When we get together for your family photo session, I want you to walk away with family photos that you proudly hang on your walls and that you treasure for years. Photos that you’ll be proud to send out at Christmas or display on your mantle. And photos that show off your kids’ personality.
As a mom I know that little ones have fun personalities that change and evolve as they grow older. One day they’re smiling so sweet at the camera with their head tilted to the side. Then before you know it they’re on to the next thing. I want to help you capture those changes so you never forget them.
I always make sure to get photos of mom and dad by themselves at family sessions. You both started all this fun, so I get photos of you together as a couple.

Do you like to go on picnics and enjoy the great outdoors? Would you rather spend time in the kitchen baking together? I would be honored to document your family as you are right now. Not the version you want to be when you loose a few pounds or when your kids stop fighting. Let’s be real…I get it. 🙂
We can hold your session outside in nature, downtown for a more urban feel, or in your home documenting how you live your lives right now. No matter what you choose, I will do my best to show off the dynamics of your family and what makes you all special.
Not sure how to dress for family photos?
This can be a tricky hold up to actually scheduling family photos. I know it can be hard to know what would look good and what types of clothing will best compliment your family.
Before your session we will meet to talk about outfits and to look at where in your home you’d like to hang your artwork. This will help you go into the session totally prepared and ready to get the best photos possible.

Full family sessions are around an hour long at a location of your choice (within 50 miles of Mount Hope, KS). These are a great opportunity to capture posed and candid photos of your family.
