I met up with Zach and Maddi for their maternity session out at her grandparents farm in Haven and we had lots of fun walking around the property finding great spots for photos!
From the field of tall grass to the dirt driveway, we found some good areas for photos. I wouldn’t mind taking photos out there again! Maybe I should see about renting it out for sessions??? 🙂
Maddi & Zach have had a busy first year of marriage with this pregnancy! This fall they will be moving overseas for Zach’s military assignment. So they’ve been spending these last few months with Maddi’s family. I’m sure that’s been nice to connect before they move away. 🙂
Zach has been deployed a couple of times already during the pregnancy which has been hard. I know they’ll be glad to be together as a family, even though they’ll be starting off in a new country.
If you have any well wishes or prayers you could send their way I’m sure they’d appreciate them.
Maddi is 33 weeks along in these photos which is a great time for a maternity session. Generally, it’s recommended to schedule your session between 28-36 weeks into your pregnancy. {This allows you to have a good belly for photos before you’re too tired and feel too big for photos.}
I didn’t have maternity photos taken with any of my 3 pregnancies which is something I regret. I’m so glad I had the chance to photograph these for this sweet couple and hope they enjoy them!

Great pictures! Love them all!
