Tips for preparing for your wedding day detail photos

I love detail shots…a pretty invitation with beautiful rings, close up photos of flowers and any special detail of your day just makes my heart flutter!

These awesome detail photos can’t happen, though unless you – the bride – brings your special items with you to your wedding venue.  🙂

Preparing for wedding day detail photosSo here’s a handy list for you to print out so you don’t forget any items that you want photographed on your special day.  You’ll be busy the day before and the morning of your wedding, so go ahead and print this off.  Then go gather your items and put them in a bag ready to grab on your big day!

Having your details ready to go for your photographer can really help move the day along. I love getting the detail photos while you’re getting your hair & makeup finished up. This way when you’re ready, we can take photos of you getting into your beautiful dress.

Here is a list to help you in preparing for wedding day detail photos

Invitation suite (your invitation, rsvp card, envelope, etc).  {If you happen to be in the beginning stages of planning your wedding, my friend Emilee does really nice calligraphy on invitations & signs for your wedding…you should totally check her out.} 🙂

Clean rings (keep them in the jewelry box)

Special dress hanger (here is an amazing onethis one is really cool too)

Shoes (might keep these in a separate soft bag so they don’t get scuffed)

Jewelry (earrings, necklace, bracelet, etc)

Any special/sentimental items

Again, because I like you, I made up a checklist for you to print off so that you can make sure you don’t forget any details for photos!  You can go here to grab that!

I hope this was helpful!  Did I forget anything?  Feel free to let me know in the comments!
